Fully Charged opens new e-bike store

16 Mar 2022

E-bike specialist Fully Charged has opened a new store in Guildford, expanding to a third location.

An estimated 100 guests descended on the new 3,000sq ft store to see products that include some of the very best in e-bike technology.

Founded by Ben Jaconelli in 2014, the e-bike specialist has grown into one of the largest e-bike retailers in the UK, offering the latest range of electric bikes from brands such as Moustache and Riese and Müller.

Having already established stores in London Bridge and Silverstone - with some operations in Cornwall - the firm has now expanded with a new site in partnership with Chris Harlow, owner of Electric Bikes Guildford.

“We’re really excited to launch this store because it supports an already existing small store that has a great vision and prevents them from being taken out by a chain,” said Jaconelli.

The opening of the new Guildford saw coincided with the launch of the new Tern Quick Haul e-bike range, which Jaconelli said is aimed at business customers looking for a machine that focused on affordability and build quality.

Alongside the unveiling of the new bike, Tern Bicycles lead, Mark Bickerton presented the Fully Charged team with The Best Initiative by a Dealer Award for 2021.

Fully Charged Guildford is open and sells a number of leading brands including Benno Bikes, Gocycle, Moustache Bikes, Riese and Müller and many more

“I think we are in a really good position but we do need to upscale,” added Jaconelli.

“We set out to do something great and we will continue to do so, but we just need to fast track a little bit now particularly with the B2B markets. We’re going to be opening our own stores further afield in the very near future.”

The firm is hoping to launch more stores around the UK in the near future.
