From large SUVs to electric hot hatchbacks, 2023 is set to be another fine year for zero-emission cars.
But with so many new EVs arriving, it's hard to keep track of what's coming when.
With this in mind, we've put together a list of all the electric models that are set to launch over the coming months.
-
August - Lotus Eletre
The British brand’s first electric car will be offered with three trim levels: Eletre, Eletre S and Eletre R. The range-topping, dual-motor R variant develops a beguiling 665kW and 726lb ft of torque, enabling the SUV to achieve a 0-62mph time of just 2.95sec.
Priced from £89,500 in the UK, the Eletre has a 373-mile range and features active aerodynamics and air suspension.

Maserati Granturismo Folgore
Set to rival the Porsche Taycan and Audi e-tron GT, Maserati’s new electric GT marks the beginning of the brand’s huge electrification push, with the firm;s aiming to become EV only by 2030. And if Folgore's numbers are anything to go by, Maserati means business.
Developing 560kW and 997lb ft, the 2+2 Granturismo Folgore can sprint from 0-62mph in a menacingly quick 2.7sec. Thanks to a 93kWh battery the electric Maserati has a claimed range of up to 450km (280 miles) and it can be charged at speeds of up to 270kW.

Munro Mk1
Aiming to offer the first green go-anywhere off-roader, Scottish brand Munro is pushing the boundaries of what an EV can be with its Defender-style Mk1. The brand’s first model sits on a ladder frame chassis and comes with permanent four-wheel-drive.
The Munro is offered with a choice of two electric motors: 220kW and 280kW. Buyers are also able to choose from either a 61kWh and 82kWh battery offering a maximum range of up to 190 miles. And there’s a pick-up variant coming in the not too distant future, too.
-
Volkswagen ID 3
Volkswagen’s spiritual successor to the Golf didn’t get off to the best of starts, with the first-generation car criticised for its poor infotainment system and low quality interior. In a bid to assuage some of its flaws, the German brand has given the ID 3 an updated exterior design and upgraded the infotainment system.
The German brand has paired back the ID 3 line-up: Pro models use a 58kWh battery offering up to 264 miles of range, while the Pro S variant gets a larger 77kWh battery enabling it to cover up to 339 miles between charges. Prices start from £37,115.

Equipped with a 54kWh battery and 112kW motor, Jeep claims a range of up to 249 miles, with charging of up to 100kW.
Jeep isn’t going to stop with the Avenger, however. Three more electric cars from the American brand will launch before 2025.
