Swedish firm Voi, which operates rental e-scooter fleets in 17 UK towns and cities, will work with leading road safety company TTC Group to stage a series of safe riding events this year.
TTC currently offers driver and rider training, and will partner with Voi to run a series of safety training events in the UK starting next month.

The events will include off and on-road sessions, and Voi will give attendees free helmets and discounts. While helmets are not compulsory on rental scooters, Voi has introduced a series of initiatives to incentivise their use.
Voi’s UK boss Jack Samler said the partnership would take the firm’s “rider safety skills training to a new level, with Voi gaining from TTC Group’s decades of experience delivering behavioural change for all road users, and providing TTC with the opportunity to enter a growing new transport sector.”
To date, more than 10 millions rides have been taken on Voi scooters in the UK.
