One-off Skoda Enyaq 80 FestEVal camper revealed

25 Jul 2022

Looking for a camping getaway with an eco-conscious twist? Step forward the Skoda Enyaq 80 FestEVal, a one-off electric Enyaq that has been converted into a campervan for people to enjoy the great outdoors.

To create the FestEVal Skoda has added a number of camping features including a boot-mounted camping box with an extendable bed and a roof tent.

The boot-based camping unit, which is made by Czech firm Egoe, slides out of the back of the Enyaq and is equipped with an integrated gas cooker and a collapsible sink.

On the move the Enyaq’s rear seats can still be used, but when parked can be transformed into a double bed.

Skoda says the double bed frame can be assembled in minutes and extends across the folded rear seats.

The second sleeping area comes in the form of a roof tent. Accessed via a ladder, the roof tent can be assembled in a matter of minutes and features a solar powered fan and integrated torch.

Skoda says the Enyaq 80 FestEVal’s camping set-up has been designed to be effortless.

The Czech-based car maker also says that the festival doesn't have to end when the music has stopped on stage. The Enyaq 80 FesEVal has an eight-speaker sound system, which means you can enjoy The Housemartins (or whatever takes your fancy) all night long.

The Enyaq 80 has an 82kWh battery which offers up to 338 miles of range between charges. It can also be charged at up to 135kW meaning a 10-80% charge can be achieved in just 30 minutes.

Skoda’s electric SUV is also equipped with regenerative braking to maximise efficiency.

Inside the Enyaq 80 there’s a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with campers also able to access the car’s permanent Wi-Fi connection.
